You have to add at least one account recovery method to your OpusChat account to recover your account. Only your personas, friends and groups will be recovered, NO chat histories will be kept for account recovery.

Install OpusChat on your mobile device, on the account Sign Up page, please tap “Already have an account?” > Under “Recover your OpusChat account by:”, select either one of the options you want to use to recover your account.

To recover your account by Apple(iOS only)/ Facebook/ Google:
Select either one options of Sign in with Apple/ Facebook/ Google > You will be directed to corresponding login page > Login with the same account you added previously as an account recovery method. You account will be recovered after you login successfully.

To recover your account by email:
Tap Sign in with email > Enter the email address which you have verified with your OpusChat account > Tap Done.
You will be asked for an authorisation code. The authorisation code will be sent to the email address you provided, please enter the code received. If the code you entered is correct, your account will be recovered successfully.
Note: Please also check your junk/ spam folder if you do not see the email.

To recover your account by phone number:
Tap Sign in with phone number > Enter the phone number which you have verified with your OpusChat account > Tap Done.
You will be asked for an authorisation code. The authorisation code will be sent by SMS to the phone number you provided, please enter the code received. If the code you entered is correct, your account will be recovered successfully.
