"Send silently" allows you to send messages without push notification (iOS only) to your friends when you do not want to disturb them. "Send silently" is only available for text messages, photos and videos sent inside OpusChat.
For iOS, there will be no push notification, but a home badge count.
For Android, there will be a push notification yet no sound, and a home badge count.

To send text messages/ photos/ videos silently:
Go to a chat > create a text message/ on the media confirmation page when sending photos/ videos > tap and hold the send button > tap "Send silently".

Forwarding messages silently
When you forward text messages and photos/ videos together, after you select the recipients, two options will be shown. You can tap “Forward” or “Forward silently”.
When you forward photos/ videos only, after you select the recipients, the media confirmation page will be shown. Tap and hold the send button > tap "Send silently".

For any messages sent silently, there will be an icon next to them.
