Sending stickers

Stickers can be sent in all chats. Once you have stickers added to OpusChat, you can send them.
For iOS devices
Go to chat view > > tap on a sticker to send immediately

For Android devices
Go to chat view > > > tap on a sticker to send immediately

Receiving stickers

When you receive a new sticker, tapping on it will give you 2 options.

1. Add to Favourites
2. Add to Custom Sticker Pack
3. Draw
4. View Sticker Pack (only for imported stickers)

Viewing stickers

Under the stickers page, you can quickly go to different sticker packs by the shortcut located at the bottom of the page.

1. Show the most recent stickers being used
2. Show the stickers being added to Favourites
3. All sticker packs added will be shown at the bottom, you can scroll through to view. The newly added sticker packs will be added to the most left next to the “Favourites”.
4. Allow you to create/ import sticker packs

Creating custom stickers from photos

Stickers can be created from photos or GIFs.
For iOS devices

1. Go to chat view > >
2. Select a photo from your device’s gallery
3. On the media preview screen, edit the photo as you like
4. Tap “Send” (the sticker will be sent as soon as you tap it)
5. OR > Select the sticker pack you want to add. The sticker will not be sent.

For Android devices

1. Go to chat view > > >
2. Select a photo from your device’s gallery
3. On the media preview screen, edit the photo as you like
4. Tap “Send” (the sticker will be sent as soon as you tap it)
5. OR > Select the sticker pack you want to add. The sticker will not be sent.

Creating your own sticker packs

For iOS devices
Go to chat view > > > select stickers > > “Add to Custom Sticker Pack” > Add to a new sticker pack or any sticker packs you have created before (you cannot add to sticker packs which are imported)

For Android devices
Go to chat view > > > > select stickers > > add to a new sticker pack or any sticker packs you have created before (you cannot add to sticker packs which are imported)

Managing stickers

For iOS devices
Go to chat view > > long tap a sticker, you will see the following options:

1. ”Add to Favourites” - add the stickers to Favourites
2. ”Add to Custom Sticker Pack” - add to a new sticker pack or any sticker packs you have created before (you cannot add to sticker packs which are imported)
3. ”View Sticker Pack” (only for imported stickers) - view the rest of stickers in the same sticker pack; or when that sticker pack has not been imported, you can choose to import the whole pack to OpusChat.
4. ”Move to top” - move the sticker to the first place in “Recently used”
5. ”Remove” - remove the sticker

For Android devices
Go to chat view > tap > > long tap a sticker, you will see the following options:

1. ”Add to Favourites” - add the stickers to Favourites
2. ”Add to Custom Sticker Pack” - add to a new sticker pack or any sticker packs you have created before (you cannot add to sticker packs which are imported)
3. ”View Sticker Pack” (only for imported stickers) - view the rest of stickers in the same sticker pack; or when that sticker pack has not been imported, you can choose to import the whole pack to OpusChat.
4. ”Move to top” - move the sticker to the first place in “Recently used”
5. ”Remove” - remove the sticker

Managing sticker packs

For imported sticker packs

There are 3 options.

1. Tap iOS / Android > “Edit” > Select stickers > You can either “Remove” or “Move to top” of the selected stickers inside that sticker pack
2. Tap iOS / Android > “Send” > You will share the sticker pack to the current chat
3. Tap iOS / Android > “Remove” > You will remove the whole sticker pack

For sticker packs you created

There are 4 options.

1. Tap iOS / Android > “Edit” > Select stickers > You can either “Remove” or “Move to top” of the selected stickers inside that sticker pack
2. Tap iOS / Android > “Send” > You will share the sticker pack to the current chat
3. Tap iOS / Android > “Rename” > You can rename the sticker pack
4. Tap iOS / Android > “Remove” > You will remove the whole sticker pack

Importing sticker packs

For iOS devices
Go to chat view > > > tap “Add” > “Import from URL” > paste the link of the sticker pack > the contents of the sticker pack will be shown if the link is valid > “Import”
You will be prompted a message once the sticker pack is imported successfully.

For Android devices
Go to chat view > > > > “Import from URL” > paste the link of the sticker pack > > the contents of the sticker pack will be shown if the link is valid > “Import”
You will be prompted a message once the sticker pack is imported successfully.
